By : Inon In : General News 0

On September 12, Inon Barnatan makes his way to Denver’s Friends of Music for his first collaboration of the season with the St. Lawrence String Quartet. Together, Inon and the quartet present the Shostakovich Piano Quintet in G Minor, Op. 57. They reprise the piece when they perform together again this November at Carnegie Hall.

Inon also performs with the Des Moines Symphony, with whom he presents Beethoven’s “Emperor” Piano Concerto on September 22 & 23. Joseph Giunta conducts.

From September 29 through October 1, Inon plays three concert evenings of Copland’s jazz-flavoured piano concerto with the Oregon Symphony and Jun Märkl.
