January 2018 Concerts Preview

To begin 2018, Inon Barnatan performs a New Year’s concert with the Minnesota Orchestra on January 1.
On January 5, Barnatan joins the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and Yaniv Dinur for Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto, which he also performs in Norway with the Trondheim Symfoniorkester and Guy Braunstein on January 11.
In Barnatan’s beloved London, he returns to Wigmore Hall on January 22 for a solo recital of Bach’s Toccata in E minor, Franck’s Prélude, choral et fugue, and Barber’s Piano Sonata in E-flat minor.
Finally, he closes out the month of January on tour with the Minnesota Orchestra and Osmo Vänskä, performing Tchaikovsky’s beloved First Piano Concerto in Bloomington, IN (Jan 23), Urbana, IL (Jan 25), and Chicago, IL (Jan 28).
