Recitals with Alisa Weilerstein This Fall

This fall, Inon Barnatan reunites with cellist Alisa Weilerstein for recitals in Europe and the US. On tour, Inon and Alisa perform programs of Brahms, Shostakovich, and Beethoven.
Inon and Alisa first perform at Wigmore Hall (October 28), highlighting Brahms’s Cello Sonata Op. 78 (transcription of Violin Sonata No. 1 in G, Op. 78) and Songs (arranged by Inon and Alisa), and Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata in D minor and Viola Sonata (arr. Daniil Shafran for cello and piano).
The two then make their way to the Conservatorio di Milano for a concert on October 30, followed by one at the Het Concertgebouw on November 3. They then appear in the U.S., performing the complete Beethoven Sonatas at Chamber Music Cincinnati (November 7) and the Scottsdale Center for the Arts (November 10).
This spring, Inon and Alisa reunite for additional US recital dates in the Midwest and West Coast.
