On Saturday, March 3, Inon Barnatan – recently announced as the next artistic director for the La Jolla Music Society – performs a solo recital at the 92nd Street Y, the renowned cultural institution located in New York’s Upper East Side.
Inon Barnatan will be the fourth Music Director of the La Jolla Music Society’s SummerFest, taking over the role in 2019, following current Music Director Cho-Liang Lin. Barnatan’s tenure at SummerFest will begin during the festival’s first season in residence at the The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, slated to open in spring 2019.
Since celebrating 2018 with back-to-back performances on New Year’s Eve and Day, Inon Barnatan returns to join the Minnesota Orchestra, this time on tour.
