Southern premiere of Fletcher piano concerto

After wrapping up six days of chamber music at the inimitable Spoleto Festival USA, Inon Barnatan gives the Southern premiere of Alan Fletcher’s piano concerto in two performances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra on June 7 & 9.
In these performances, Barnatan – who has premiered and championed works by living composers, including Thomas Adès, Sebastian Currier, Avner Dorman, Matthias Pintscher, Alasdair Nicolson, and Andrew Norman – reunites with Robert Spano, conductor of the concerto’s first performance at the Aspen Music Festival last summer.
