Roy Thomson Hall
Toronto, Ontario
Saturday, 20 April 2013 - 7:30 PM
Ottawa's excellent National Arts Centre Orchestra and its gifted Music Director, Pinchas Zukerman, make a welcome visit to Roy Thomson Hall. Their programme features Mendelssohn's stirring "Reformation" Symphony, named after its use of a hymn tune by Martin Luther, and a piano concerto by Saint-Saëns that, according to one writer, "starts like Bach and ends like Offenbach."

Pre-concert chat with Rick Phillips and Pinchas Zuckerman in the North Lobby at 6:45pm

Casual concerts are performed without an intermission and are followed by a party in the lobby. Mingle with musicians in a relaxed setting and enjoy live music by The Ron Davis Trio. Learn more at rondavismusic.com and symphronica.com.
